Cartiera Soundscape is an interdisciplinary festival blending electronic music, contemporary dance, art installations, workshops, walks, and immersive sensory experiences.
Set in some of Rome’s most captivating locations, including the former Cartiera Latina, Forte Antenne, and Casale dei Cedrati, the festival offers a unique experience that ranges from video art to sound installations, fostering a continuous dialogue between art, innovation, and the environment.
With a rich array of sensory stimuli, from the sound of plants to the stories of water, the festival aims to enhance cultural spaces and heritage, encouraging active participation and reflection on the connections between people and nature. Cartiera Soundscape seeks to create deep connections and a sustainable community, strengthening the bond between individuals and their environment.
The event is organised by CulturalPro in association with Ars Mundi, and promoted by Rome City Council’s Department of Culture. It is the winner of the biennial “Culture in Movement 2023–2024” public call, curated by the Department of Cultural Activities, and is realised in collaboration with LEA and SIAE.
